Queer Pop Culture

 Queer pop culture is the concept of famous medias that is happening right now. That applies to the queer community because there have been certain medias that talk about queer theory. For example, the reality show called Drag Queens, which is about people who perform lip syncing, dancing, and comedy to express their own gender identity. A person I know who is a part of the LGBTQ community is Jeffree Star who is a make up artist and a Youtube influencer who makes collaborations with other makeup artists. I have heard of him through social media and he even has his own makeup company. I think queer pop culture is important because it show how much the LGBTQ is being welcomed.

Queer Sports

 For the queer sports community, this refers to sports that are specifically made for people with their own gender identity. I think this is a good idea because this makes feel like they are in a safe environment. It would be much better than being on a regular sports team because of how other athletes judge one another. I researched this clue call the gay games, which is an international sporting event that brings people from the LGBTQ together for friendly competition. As an athlete, this is what a safe team environment looks like. People treat each other with respect, they support one another, and we all share the same goal as a team. Overall, I think this is positive for the LGBTQ community because it's important for people to be involved in sports.

Trouble with the norm

 One thing I would like to share that is outside the norm for society is the spectrum of autism. This condition is very for most people because it is different ability that certain people have. Like myself  for instance because I too have autism and for me I think of it as some sort of advantage for me because I made accomplished so much for myself that I don't think of my autism as burden. For example, I have made so many friends throughout my life that I've made it so far as to graduate college.
